BAY HARBOR ISLANDS, Fla. – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a fire at a Bay Harbor Islands apartment.
It happened late Tuesday night at a building along 103rd Street and West Bay Harbor Drive.
The fire started in the kitchen of a second floor unit, authorities said.
According to fire rescue officials, 50 firefighters battled the blaze, and the damage was confined to the kitchen area.
Local 10 News’ camera spotted several fire trucks outside the building.
Authorities have not provided any information on what sparked the fire.
No injures were reported.
The American Red Cross is now assisting two people who were affected by the fire.
