MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police arrested an elderly man Tuesday after they said he touched the genitals of a 15-year-old boy who he allegedly lured inside his southwest Miami-Dade home to see his dirt bike collection.
According to an arrest report, the incident happened around 7:45 on Dec. 30 near the 15,000 block of Southwest 59th Street.

The victim told police that he met Roberto Medrano, 70, of Miami, while playing outside since they both live in the same neighborhood, the report stated.
The boy told police that Medrano has several dirt bikes in his backyard and invited him into his home to “take a look,” according to detectives.
Police said Medrano promised to give the boy one of his dirt bikes if the victim was “willing to do something for him,” according to the report.
The victim told investigators on one occasion, Medrano took him to his backyard and while he was looking at the dirt bikes, the elderly man began fondling the boy’s penis over and under his clothes, the report stated.
The victim told detectives that he froze and did not know what to do, but ran home when Medrano stopped touching him, according to police.
Detectives said on a second occasion, Medrano invited the victim to his backyard and began touching the victim’s penis while rubbing his penis onto the victim’s buttocks.
Police said Medrano invited the boy over for a third time and promised to give him one of his dirt bikes if he went to his backyard.
In that incident, Medrano fondled the victim’s penis, exposed his penis to the victim and rubbed his buttocks against him, according to the report.
Medrano instructed the victim to video record their interaction and part of that interaction was captured with the victim’s cellphone, according to investigators.
Medrano’s arrest report states that he was arrested around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday and then transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where his bond amount has not been released.
Jail records show he is facing three counts of lewd and lascivious sexual battery on a minor.
