HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Amy Henry flashed a cheeky smile in her Broward County mugshot, but police said she did something that would lead to tears at a Hollywood warehouse store — and now faces a criminal charge that’s no laughing matter.
Henry, 51, of unincorporated Broward, along with Dantrious Finklin, 35, of Tamarac, are facing robbery charges in connection with an Aug. 27 incident caught on camera at the BJ’s Wholesale Club at 4000 Oakwood Blvd.
A third suspect is still on the run, according to police, who released new video of the attack.
Video stills show the group storm the store and then Henry uses pepper spray on a worker who was trying to stop them.
“There is a third person that’s involved,” Hollywood Police Department spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi said. “They were part of the robbery; you can see them in the surveillance video picking something up off the side and then leaving with the woman who pepper-sprayed the victim.”
Bettineschi called the incident “heartbreaking.”
“You know that this victim is just there trying to get through the day, trying to get their job done,” she said.
Bettineschi said police are looking into whether the group is connected to other retail theft crimes across Broward County.
Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
