SUNRISE, Fla. – After a woman punched a man during an argument at a Burger King in Broward County, the fight continued in the parking lot and she stabbed him, according to an arrest report in the pending case.
Deputies were holding Angela Wells on Tuesday morning at the North Broward Bureau accused of attacking a man in Sunrise and a woman in Pompano Beach, county records show.

Wells, 38, of Pompano Beach, knew the victim at Burger King and hit him several times before using a boxcutter to stab him, according to the Sunrise Police Department’s arrest report.
Wells and the man were both in a silver Chevrolet Malibu, according to Officer Nicole Martinez who arrested Wells on Sept. 22, near the intersection of West Sunrise Boulevard and Sunset Strip.
Fire rescue personnel took the injured man to the hospital. The silver Chevrolet Malibu was also involved in a second attack in November, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Detective Woodnel Charles reported Wells held up an 8-inch knife and threatened to stab a woman before hitting her with the Chevrolet on Nov. 14 at the Rocket Fuel gas station in Pompano Beach and fleeing, records show.
The woman told deputies that all she did was compliment Wells for her hair piece and the violent reaction had her “in fear for her life,” according to Charles’s report. A judge issued a warrant for Wells’s arrest on Nov. 28.
On Dec. 3, Sunrise police officers responded to a disturbance at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sunrise, at 4399 Nob Hill Road, and arrested Wells there on the warrant, records show.
Deputies booked Wells on Dec. 4 at the main jail in Fort Lauderdale.
For the case in Sunrise, Wells is facing a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Her arraignment was on Thursday and she pleaded not guilty. Her bond was $10,000.
For the case in Pompano Beach, Wells is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated battery, records show. Her bond was set at $22,500 and her arraignment is on Jan. 16.
