MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured over the weekend.
According to authorities, the shooting was reported around 6:47 p.m. Sunday in the area of Northwest 31st Avenue and 95th Street in the county’s West Little River area.

Police said officers arrived at the scene and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses told Local 10 News the woman had been shot in the arm and went to a nearby area screaming, “Help me, call 911!”
According to police, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.
Detectives say the preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and a man were involved in a verbal altercation, which escalated when he shot her.
No arrests have been made and police did not immediately have a description of the shooter.
