WESTON, Fla. – A 24-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after a series of bizarre acts at a Weston synagogue that ended in her shouting “politically-based rhetoric regarding the ongoing events in Israel and also the border issues,” her arrest report stated.

According to the report, the incident occurred at Temple Dor Dorim, located at 2360 Glades Circle.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said the woman, Jessica Shiner, of Miami, tried to clog multiple toilets, set off a noise-making machine and covered herself in fake blood while shouting.

A BSO sergeant at the synagogue witnessed her actions, the report stated.

According to the report, Shiner was not eligible for a civil citation due to her not having a state-issued ID or having any connection to Broward County.

The arresting deputy wrote in the report that “their conduct would cause me to fear for the general public should they be released on scene.”

Shiner faces a charge of willfully and maliciously interrupting or disturbing any school or any assembly of people meeting for the worship of God.

As of Monday afternoon, Shiner was no longer appearing in the jail database.
