BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County joined Local 10 News Saturday in continuing its search to find loving, permanent homes for pets.

HSBC Vice President of Marketing Cherie Wachter introduced Bella to Local 10 viewers.

Wachter said Bella is 1-year-old and weighs 39 pounds.

She said Bella, who could be a Bully breed, was given up because her family did not want the responsibility of taking care of a pet anymore.

Bella is great with kids ages 6 and up and is extremely well-behaved. She is also potty trained and good with other dogs.

Wachter also introduced Flo and Ryder to Local 10 News viewers.

Flo and Ryder are 2-year-old sisters. They’re both tuxedo cats and petite, weighing 6 and 8 pounds.

Both cats don’t need to be adopted together, according to the HSBC.

Wachter also said they have a lot of bigger breeds and older pets looking for their ‘furever’ home.

Wachter also spoke about the HSBC’s annual “Walk for the Animals” event where donations will go toward the well-being of animals looking for a home and any surgeries they may need.
