KEY WEST, Fla. – Officials in the Florida Keys dropped their case against a woman who had been charged with aggravated battery.
Zoe Sparrow, then 59, had been accused of shooting a woman delivering food and water to the homeless with a BB gun in Marathon back in August 2022.

According to court documents, prosecutors dropped the case because ”(t)he alleged victim in this case no longer wishes to prosecute or is wiling to cooperate with the state. The State can not prove the charge beyond all reasonable doubt.”
