MIAMI – One moment her $8,000 purse was there, and the next it was gone. That’s what a woman recently told police officers in South Miami.
Surveillance video shows two men targeting the woman while at the Casa Cuba, a popular restaurant along Southwest 73 Street, according to police officers.

A man placed his jacket over the woman’s purse and swiftly took it, police said.
Detectives asked the public on Thursday to help them find the crooks who went on to use her credit card on Dec. 23 at another restaurant.
Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
