Fire erupts at Dolphins star Tyreek Hill’s mansion in Southwest Ranches

Hill was at practice when fire erupted; family made it out of home safely

SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. – A fire erupted Wednesday afternoon at a multi-million dollar home in Southwest Ranches belonging to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Sky 10 was above the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m. as firefighters were spotted on the roof of the mansion, located on Berkshire Court in the gated Landmark Ranch Estates development, as smoke was billowing from one side of the house.

Records show the home was purchased for $6.9 million in the summer of 2022.

A representative for the Miami Dolphins confirmed to Local 10 News that Hill’s family members were able to get out safely. They said he left practice to be with his family once he received word about the fire.

Footage from Sky 10 showed him speaking with relatives outside his home around 3 p.m. At one point, he placed his hands together as if in prayer as he looked toward the sky.

Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, also came to the scene. He spoke to local media outlets late Wednesday afternoon.

“Thankfully, the fire was contented to a limited area of the home,” Rosenhaus said. “It’s very difficult for anybody to have your home catch on fire, but Tyreek is handling it with as much poise as you could hope.”

It’s unclear what led to the fire. Rosenhaus said the home sustained smoke and water damage.
