WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are seeking additional leads in a fatal September shooting in Wilton Manors. They released new video Tuesday in hopes of identifying the suspects involved, according to the agency.
Arland Cata, 44, was shot and killed on Sept. 10 at a home in the 500 block of Northwest 28th Court. Neighbors at the time identified the property as a short-term rental.
A spokesperson for BSO, which investigates homicides in Wilton Manors on behalf of the city’s police department, said the video shows the suspects “running alongside the victim’s driveway and then at least a dozen gunshots are heard. The shooters then flee the residence and get into a white four-door sedan where more shots are fired.”
Anyone with information is asked to call BSO Detective Steven Novak at 954-321-4325 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest in Cata’s killing.
