Hialeah man wins $5 million playing Florida Lottery scratch-off

HIALEAH, Fla. – A Hialeah man brought home several million dollars after claiming the top prize for a Gold Rush Limited scratch-off ticket.

Rodolfo Lima, 51, of Hialeah, claimed a $5 million top prize from the Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,960,000.

Lima purchased his winning ticket from Cafe España Restaurant, located at 498 West 28th Street in Hialeah.

The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
