Annual Rick Case holiday giveaway aims to gift over 6,000 bicycles to Broward children

SUNRISE, Fla. – Some deserving South Florida children received some hot new wheels to help them ride into the New Year.

Rick Case teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County to help make this holiday season a special one for those kids.

The long standing tradition, thanks to members of the community and the Case family, makes sure as many kids as possible can get a bike for Christmas.

Thousands of cool rides were delivered by Santa Claus himself, with a little help from the Rick Case Bikes for Kids program.

Rita Case said it’s a tradition she plans to continue in memory of her late husband.

“We were married for over 40 well, now it will be over 43 years, he passed away on our 40th year, so we started this program together and you know his legacy is what I work for,” she said.

The Rick Case bikes for kids program plans to gift away more than 6,000 bicycles this holiday season.

Most of the bikes are donated by the community at Rick Case dealerships across South Florida.
