BSO detectives search for missing 16-year-old girl from Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old girl who was last seen in Lauderdale Lakes nearly two weeks ago.

According to detectives, Lehana Mikelha Genius was last seen around 2 p.m. on Sept. 3 in the 4400 block of Northwest 36th Street.

Investigators said Genius is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jean shorts and a black hat, according to authorities.
