DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Authorities in Broward County found a missing 12-year-old boy last seen over the weekend in Deerfield Beach after alerting the public to his disappearance Monday.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Jake Jenkinson had been last seen 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Northwest First Terrace.

“He was wearing a white shirt, lavender colored shorts and grey shoes,” BSO spokesperson Gerdy St. Louis said in a news release Monday evening. “He was last seen riding a blue beach cruiser bicycle.”
Authorities later located him “safe and unharmed” Tuesday morning, according to BSO.
