VIDEO: Broward deputies want to know if this ‘peeping Tom’ has victimized you

BSO: Brenden Louissaint, 30, arrested after exposing self while peering through patio door

TAMARAC, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office asked the public to come forward Friday if they’ve been victimized by a man they described as a “peeping Tom.”

BSO spokesperson Gerdy St. Louis said deputies arrested Brenden Anthony Louissaint, 30, on Monday for an incident that happened last Friday in Tamarac.

According to deputies, Louissaint went to a home in the 5700 block of Mulberry Drive and was armed with an “unidentified object” when he tapped on the victim’s sliding door, trying to gain access to her home.

Louissaint lives nearby, in the 5600 block of Mulberry Drive, deputies said.

“Surveillance video of the incident shows the suspect walking onto the victim’s property,” St. Louis said. “He is then seen entering the victim’s enclosed patio and that’s where investigators say he exposed himself while peering through the victim’s bedroom sliding glass door. The victim told detectives the suspect attempted to open the sliding glass door before fleeing on foot.”

Surveillance video:

Louissaint faced numerous charges, including one count of voyeurism, one count of exposure of a sexual organ, one count of stalking, one count of burglarizing an occupied dwelling and one count of loitering and prowling.

He remained in jail as of Friday on a $13,000 bond.

St. Louis said investigators believe Louissaint may have targeted others.

Anyone who believes they or others may have been a victim of Louissaint is asked to call Tamarac-based Detective Elizabeth Maldonado at 954-720-2225 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
