Dog receiving medical care after being hit by car, left to die in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A dog is being treated after it was struck by a car in Fort Lauderdale.

According to iHeart Animal Rescue, the dog named Hope was run over and found on the side of the road near Broward Boulevard and Southwest 30th Avenue.

They say hope was unable to walk due to her injuries.

She was rushed to Snapper Creek Animal Hospital to undergo treatment.

It is not yet known who may have hurt the dog.
