MIRAMAR, Fla. – Miramar police released surveillance video Monday that shows a thief opening a woman’s car door while she pumped gas and stealing her purse.
The theft occurred just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The video shows the victim pumping gas when a white car pulls up next to her vehicle.
The driver, who was wearing a hoodie, is then seen opening her front passenger-side door and stealing her purse.
Police are asking anyone with information about the thief’s identity to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
