KEY LARGO, Fla. – A woman was thrown off a personal watercraft when it exploded in the waters off the Florida Keys, and the incident was captured on cellphone video.
It happened Monday at Gilbert’s Resort in Key Largo.
The blast propelled the woman into the water and left a hole in the watercraft.
Fire rescue crews arrived on scene soon after to treat the victim.
There was no word on the severity of her injuries.
Authorities did not say what caused the explosion.
