MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Federal agents seized over $1 million worth of cocaine and hashish in the Florida Keys over the past week, a top U.S. Border Patrol official confirmed Wednesday.
Chief Patrol Agent Walter N. Slosar, who leads the agency’s Miami sector, tweeted that Border Patrol agents in the Miami sector seized 87 pounds of hashish and 62 pounds of cocaine that were discovered by recreational boaters in the Florida Keys.

According to Slosar, the drugs have an estimated value of approximately $1.4 million.
It is not clear whether anyone was charged.
Officials have not confirmed an exact location of where the drugs were located in the Florida Keys.
