Nicholas Warren, a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida representing the plaintiffs, told Local 10 News’ Christina Vazquez, “Our opposition is due this Friday.”

This all comes after accusations by a commissioner’s political opponent.

Miguel Angel Gabela accused Commissioner Alex Diaz de la Portilla of leveraging the redistricting process to remove Gabela’s residence of 23 years from District 1 just months prior to the November general election.
