HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Hollywood police are investigating the near drowning of two children in a backyard pool Friday morning.
Hollywood police officers were dispatched to the 6400 block of Meade Street, west of the turnpike. When police and fire rescue arrived, they discovered two young children in the pool. The ages of the children have not yet been released.
People who live on the block say that the home is usually vacant or rented out as an Airbnb.
Fire rescue transported both to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, according to a police spokesperson.
Hollywood police told Local 10 News that their conditions are unknown at this time.
