According to the arrest affidavit, the victim said her relationship with Castillo “was nothing more than an instructor student one,” and that Castillo had become infatuated with her.

The victim said that when Castillo was a student at FAU, he would show up at her classes and disrupt them.

She said that after Castillo left FAU, he would stalk her social media and email accounts and create fictitious accounts to contact her.

The victim said the harassment was so bad that she deleted some of her accounts and reported him to police.

Castillo last lived in California.

According to the arrest affidavit, he said that voices in his head told him that the victim loved him.

He then took a flight from California, and used an Uber to get to the victim’s home.

Castillo is charged with burglary, and remains at the Palm Beach County Jail.
