HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – This month’s wild weather in Broward County now includes a waterspout.
The intense columnar vortex landed on Friday in Hollywood Beach. Witnesses started to evacuate the beach, as it moved over water two to three miles offshore.
The twister’s force knocked over a woman who was near the beach walk. It was connected to a cloud that stemmed out of a group of thunderstorms in the Atlantic Ocean.
