MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old man was arrested Thursday after being accused of stabbing a victim during a sleepover in Miami-Dade County last month.
Miami-Dade police responded to a call of a stabbing at a home near the 8300 block of South Dixie Highway on Feb. 1.

Authorities said a witness, who is also the homeowner, invited Daniel Rush to sleep over.
According to the arrest report, the victim was in his bedroom asleep when Rush entered the bedroom and attacked him.
Police said Rush grabbed the victim from behind with an unknown object and sliced his neck, causing a laceration.
Detectives said the victim was transported to Jackson South Medical Center where he was coherent and received several stitches to his neck.
Police said they received a call Thursday of a man that was seen carrying a knife in Miami-Dade County.
The man, later identified as Rush, was arrested and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
According to investigators, a photographic lineup was created and presented to the victim, who identified Rush as the suspect in connection with the stabbing on Feb. 1.
Rush is facing a charge of attempted murder.
A motive for the attack is unclear.
