Police investigating after car crashes into pet grooming business in Hallandale Beach

Police investigating after a car drove through a pet grooming business in Hallandale Beach Thursday, (WPLG)

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Police are investigating after a car crashed into a pet grooming business in Hallandale Beach Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue responded to a crash around 3:30 p.m. at Pawfect Cut Grooming Spa, located at 1109 E Hallandale Beach Blvd.

A BSO Fire Rescue spokesperson told Local 10 News that a blue Honda was identified as the car that drove through the business.

Video from Sky 10 shows the businesses front entrance windows smashed in as a result of the impact. The car was towed away shortly after the crash.

According to BSO Fire Rescue, once firefighters arrived, they discovered that no one was injured during the crash.

Authorities said some dogs were inside of the business at the time of impact, but no humans were injured.

Authorities have not confirmed if any animals were injured in the crash.

Police have not identified the driver involved in the incident.

According to BSO Fire Rescue, the Hallandale Beach Police Department is now investigating the cause of the crash.
