MIAMI – A 31-year-old woman appeared in Miami-Dade County court on Monday after detectives accused her of a $22,425 credit card fraud to go on a family vacation to the Caribbean.
Corrections officers had been holding Lexus Moorer, of Raleigh, North Carolina, since 1:40 p.m., Sunday, at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to county records.

Police officers arrested Moorer at about 11 a.m., Sunday, at the Port of Miami, after the Royal Caribbean Group reported that she had used eight stolen credit cards to book two staterooms on a 7-day cruise on Oasis of the Seas, according to the arrest report.
According to the Royal Caribbean’s itinerary, Oasis of the Seas made stops on Tuesday at Labadee, Wednesday at Puerto Rico, Thursday at St. Thomas, and on Saturday in The Bahamas before returning to Miami on Sunday morning.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of Miami reported finding four stolen credit cards in her wallet after her return from the Feb. 19-26 trip, according to the arrest report. Homeland Security Investigations was also involved in the investigation.
Moorer was facing eight counts of grand theft, eight counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, and four counts of unlawful possession of a stolen credit card, according to county records.
