Surveillance video released of suspect’s vehicle in double fatal shooting in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The Hollywood Police Department released surveillance video Wednesday that captured a vehicle believed to have been used by the shooter who killed two men last year.

The shooting occurred just before 8:20 p.m. on Aug. 29 in the 5600 block of Wiley Street.

According to Hollywood police, officers arrived at the scene to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims, Erick Johnson and Miguel Burgos Jr., were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where they died.

Detectives said the vehicle believed to have been used by the shooter was captured on surveillance video and appears to be a silver, four-door Mercedes-Benz.

A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
