MARATHON, Fla. – The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for 2 Cuban migrants about 40 miles off Boot Key after a vessel capsized on Tuesday.
According to the Coast Guard, a good Samaritan rescued 19 people from the water. There were reportedly 21 people on the vessel.

“Four migrants were transported to Emergency Medical Services,” the agency tweeted.
The search and rescue efforts come amid an upsurge in Cuban migration to South Florida.
