Family members hope for justice after 2 young men found shot to death in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The family of two shooting victims are desperate for information that will lead to an arrest in the case.

Police say the two young men were shot and killed last week.

They have been identified as 25-year-old Mark Cine and his roommate, 25-year-old Eric Watters.

The two men were found dead last week inside their home near Northwest 92nd Street and 25th Avenue in Miami-Dade’s West Little River neighborhood.

A friend found them shot to death on Wednesday.

A next door neighbor told Local 10 News they heard multiple gunshots days before the pair was found dead.

Cine’s older brother, Matthew Cine, said the family is waiting for more information about what happened.

“Kind of in shock,” Matthew Cine said. “I didn’t believe it. Tears came down my eyes. I was mad, trying to figure out what’s going on.”

Cine said he and his younger brother were close, talking regularly. He wants anyone with helpful information to do the right thing.

“Whoever did this or knows about it, reach out to authorities,” he said. “Let them know. Just come forward.”

So far, no arrests have been made.

If you have any information that could help this family, you’re asked to call Miami-Dade police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
