New Amazon warehouse in Pembroke Park employs robots to do the heavy lifting

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A massive Amazon delivery facility in Pembroke Park, which was open less than a year, is now a ghost town.

According to CNBC, a logistics firm that tracks Amazon’s distribution network reported the company closed nearly 45 facilities earlier this month and delayed the opening of another 25 fulfillment centers.

It appears the Pembroke Park facility is part of this action.

Local 10 News has reached out to Amazon numerous times, but has not received a response.

There is currently another Amazon fulfillment center in Opa-locka, which opened in 2019.
