MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – An investigation is ongoing after an elderly woman was killed in a drive-by shooting in Miami-Dade County.
Local 10 News obtained exclusive video that shows the moments the shooting took place.
The victim, 89-year-old Elizabeth Level, was known to loved ones as Miss Liz.
She was killed on Friday evening in Liberty City while sitting on a chair outside her home.
Police say she was caught in crossfire.
The video shows two men running past her, and a bullet appears to strike and a car before someone returns fire.
“We are devastated,” said Griselda Bee, the victim’s granddaughter. “I haven’t slept for three days, I didn’t even go home.”
Family members want the people responsible to be caught.
“I just want justice for my grandma,” Bee said. “I want people who may know something in the community to speak out and help us.”
