A baby bottle manufacturer has issued a recall over high lead levels in some of its products.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the markings on the outside of some of NUKā€™sā€™ First Choice 240 mL glass baby bottles contain lead levels higher than those set by the federal government.

Only about 100 bottles sold in the U.S. are affected.

The recall date is listed as last Thursday on the CPSCā€™s website.

The bottles were designed for newborn to 6-month-old babies and are sold exclusively on Amazon. Those who purchased the bottles are entitled to a full refund.

For more information or to request a refund, call NUK toll-free at 888-685-1238 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or visit www.nuk-usa.com and click on ā€œrecallā€ at the top of the page.
