Criminals caught on camera breaking into liquor store, leaving with entire cash register

WEST MIAMI, Fla. – Bold crooks were caught on camera ripping out the cash register at a West Miami liquor store.

“One of the offenders pulls the cash register out, attached to a chain,” said West Miami Police Detective Richard Menor.

The crime in question happened Monday morning at the liquor store located at 1791 Southwest 67th Avenue.

“This is brazen, he takes the whole thing, and he missed some items under the cash register,” said Menor.

It all started with the crooks using a tool to break into the business.

Once inside, they rip the cash register right out.

“The video is pretty good,” said Menor. “You can see, you get a pretty good face shot. We are hoping that somebody can identify these guys.”

Just for good measure, the crooks also took CBD products.

Police officers are hoping the video will help them crack the case.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
