Detectives search for suspect in attempted murder at Dania Beach park

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Detectives are searching for the suspect of a recent attempted murder at a public park in Dania Beach.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office described the suspect on Wednesday as a man who was driving a silver sedan when he shot a rifle into a crowd at about 3:40 p.m., April 27, at C.W. Thomas Park.

A man was injured. Deputies found him at a nearby hospital. They are asking anyone with information about the shooter to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. There is a $5,000 reward.
