MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man who was working on his vehicle that became disabled early Friday morning was struck by another vehicle, authorities confirmed.
The accident occurred in the area of Southwest 152nd Street and 124th Avenue.
According to Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta, the victim was working on his car in the roadway when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson South Medical Center, where he died.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene as a gray pickup truck was towed away. It’s unclear whether that vehicle was the one the victim was working on or the vehicle that struck the victim.
No other details were immediately released by authorities.
