CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Coral Gables police are searching for a thief who they say ripped off many homeowners.
Surveillance video released Wednesday by the police department shows the “porch pirate” pulling his car up to homes and stealing packages right off the doorstep.
Police got a lead on the suspected thief and served a warrant at his home, where authorities said they found lots of jewelry.
But police said the suspect, identified as Carlos Andres Gonzalez Rodriguez, 35, was not home when they arrived and they still haven’t found him.
