Miami gets futuristic Bitcoin bull

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Wall Street is coming to South Florida, sort of.

Miami is now getting its very own charging bull statue, reminiscent of the iconic one in the heart of New York City’s financial district.

This new statue includes glowing ‘laser eyes’, which are often used by crypto enthusiasts on social media.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez was there for the unveiling of the 11-foot, three-thousand-pound statue on Wednesday, and said the future of finance is in Miami.

“We are going to be the aggregation of capital center of the world and the deployer of capital center of the world,” Suarez said.

The unveiling happened at the Miami Beach Convention Center, where the 2022 Bitcoin Conference is underway.

The Miami bull will later be relocated to its permanent home on the Miami-Dade College campus.
