Boy who survived brain cancer has wish come true at Zoo Miami

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā€“ A young boy from Iowa who survived brain cancer had his wish come true and spent the day exploring Zoo Miamiā€™s reptiles with Ron Magill.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, nine-year-old Brayton Kuhse spent the day hanging out with turtles, snakes and giraffes.

ā€œThis was amazing. It was his dream and itā€™s more than I could have ever hoped for,ā€ said Katie Kuhse, Braytonā€™s mother.

Brayton was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2019. He is now in remission and in good heath.

Make-A-Wish Southern Florida has granted more than 13,000 life-changing wishes since 1983, for children who have critical illnesses.
