MIAMI – Miami police are searching for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 61st Street, near a Chase Bank and a bus stop.
According to authorities, the woman was robbed at gunpoint and physically assaulted.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to North Shore Medical Center.
Police said the victim suffered serious injuries in the attack.
No other details were immediately released.
