1 dead, 3 injured in I-95 shooting in South Florida

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – A man was killed and three others were injured during a shooting Monday in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Boynton Beach, authorities say.

The Florida Highway Patrol received a report of the shooting just after 12:30 p.m., and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is now asking drivers who may have seen the gunfire to come forward.

PBSO says the victims were driving in a burgundy Lexus when they were hit by gunfire from another vehicle. The victims drove themselves to Bethesda Hospital East where one man was pronounced dead and the three other adult victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators had no information on a motive or suspects on Monday afternoon.
