FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā Fort Lauderdale police released surveillance video Friday that shows a man who is wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred earlier this month.
According to authorities, the stabbing occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, in the 700 block of Northwest 22nd Road.
Police said the victim, David Morgan, 39, who is a transient resident of Fort Lauderdale, was approached by the suspect, who then stabbed him without warning.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The newly-released surveillance video shows him inside a convenience store.
Police said Morgan was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he later died.
