Charges increased to attempted murder for man’s alleged attack on Wilton Manors neighbor

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – A man accused of attacking a woman in Wilton Manors is facing new charges.

A judge in Broward County increased the charges against Phillip Siegel to attempted murder on Saturday.

According to police, the victim, Maria Krasnova, was asked by her neighbor, Siegel, and his roommate to help them move furniture.

She was then struck, unprovoked, by a 30-inch metal bar.

It happened on May 1 at Wilton House on Andrews Avenue in Wilton Manors.
