Florida skunk struts its stuff after the sun goes down

FWC sets up cameras and is rewarded with animal acrobatics

If you have ever wondered what happens when the sun goes down along Florida roadways, check this out.

Florida Fish and Wildlife has teamed with FDOT to set up cameras at culverts and wildlife crossings all over the Sunshine State.

A skunk in Southwest Florida put on a show for the camera, which was hidden at a wildlife crossing. The little guy is an acrobat, showing off a headstand and fluffing up his tail for the performance!

It is all in an effort to help Florida biologists learn more about skunks and their habitat. To report sightings of Florida skunks, visit www.FWC.com/SkunkSurvey.
