NORTHWEST MIAMI DADE, Fla. – At least one person has been taken to a local hospital after the driver of a silver Lamborghini SUV crashed into another car in Northwest Miami-Dade County.
The crash happened in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 119th Street early Saturday morning.
In video exclusively obtained by Local 10 News, police officers are seen surrounding the Lamborghini with their guns drawn.
Two people are pulled out of the car and placed in handcuffs.
According to police, this all started a couple blocks down the street, near 119th Street and 15th Avenue.
Surveillance video captured what police are calling a hit and run in which the Lamborghini from the crash is swerving around before a person is seen in the middle of the road.
A different camera shows the Lamborghini then taking off.
North Miami Police said something happened inside the strip mall where the hit and run took place, and the incident spilled into the streets.
That’s when police said the Lamborghini hit the pedestrian.
The person hit has been identified as a 33-year-old Hispanic male, and he is listed in critical condition.
Authorities have not released any information on the people who were inside the Lamborghini.
