Baptist Health to offer 12,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointments starting Friday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. ā€“ Baptist Health will launch an online appointment scheduling platform starting Friday with accommodations for 12,000 slots for those 65 and over and other high-risk individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

A press release from Baptist Health South Florida stated that those 65 years of age and old and also high-risk members of the community, will be able to book an appointment starting Friday.

The website is Baptisthealth.net.

Those who get an appointment will receive a time slot for distribution that will start Monday.

ā€œWe expect to continue to add availability as we add additional locations in the coming weeks,ā€ the release stated. ā€œThe light at the end of the tunnel is shining just a little brighter.  In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to take proper safety precautions as we push forward in this fight.ā€
