MIAMI – Police released video of a shooting that occurred near a Miami nightclub over the weekend in hopes that the public can help identify three gunmen.
Six people were shot around 9 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 36th Street. Four of them were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center while the other two were treated at the scene.
All four have now been released from the hospital, authorities confirmed Friday.
According to authorities, the victims were inside a 2010 Honda Civic when, unnoticed by any of them, what appeared to be a gray Dodge Charger pulled up next to them before turning around and driving off. Moments later, three people slowly walked into the frame of the video from the direction the Charger had been traveling.
As they got to the corner, they began firing guns toward the people in the Civic.
Video shows the muzzle flashes as dozens of shots were fired, and then the 3 gunmen ran off, one of them still firing as he was running away.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
