MIAMI – Miami police are asking the public’s help in finding a 10-year-old girl who went missing from the area of North Bayshore Drive and 78th Road.
Randi Canion was last seen around 11 p.m. Saturday. An Amber Alert was issued for her on Tuesday.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Randi may be with an unknown male and they could be traveling together in a white van.
Authorities said Randi had her hair styled in box braids when she was last seen.
Miami police officers have been around the neighborhood throughout the afternoon, questioning people, but haven’t said if it’s connected to the girl’s disappearance.
Police say Randi has ran away from home three times before. Once, authorities were called and recovered her. The other two times she returned home on her own shortly after leaving.
Her 11th birthday is just days away.
