Cyclist dies after 2-vehicle crash in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A bicyclist died Thursday afternoon when a two-vehicle crash quickly propelled a Toyota Coupe in his direction, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A white Toyota Sedan and a white Toyota Coupe crashed at the intersection of Northwest 27the Avenue at Northwest 163rd Street, according to Lt. Alejandro Camacho, a spokesman for FHP.

After the collision, the Toyota Coupe struck a male bicyclist who was waiting in the median of Northwest 27th Avenue near the Bunche Park neighborhood.
