FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Superintendent Robert Runcie announced on Friday Broward County public schools will be closing starting Monday.
Runcie also canceled afterschool activities, but school cafeterias will remain open for food distribution among qualifying students.
Broward Teachers Union President Anna Fusco supported Runcie’s decision.
